Loving Hut, Cabramatta

One of the most-loved vegan restaurant chains in the world, Loving Hut, serves it’s renowned healthy and delicious meals in one of Sydney’s most veggie-friendly suburbs, Cabramatta.

Surrounded by the likes of An Lac, Green Palace Thai Vegetarian, World Vegan Restaurant and various vegan friendly mini marts, Loving Hut makes the travel to Cabramatta worth it.

Parking in the town centre is metered and very, very busy. After spending what felt like a lifetime trying to find a spot I made a mental note to travel by train then walk the 5 minutes from the station to the restaurant for future visits.

The small restaurant has a casual vibe and a real mix of customers. There may be a young family seated next to an elderly couple seated next to a table of monks.

The food is affordable, tasty and different from your run of the mill salads and acai bowls found all over Sydney. The service has room for improvement though and you may find it difficult to get served without continually flagging someone down or going to the counter yourself.

The menu is extensive and you will no doubt want to visit again to work your way through it. I recommend starting with these must-trys:
– Mushroom Congee
– Steamed Dumplings

Although it may be inevitable to feel down once your delicious bowl of congee has come to an end, never fear as Loving Hut Cabramatta sells take-home meals and desserts in the fridge by the counter and in the nearby mini mart.

  1. Never heard of this place until right now. I’m not a vegetarian, but probably could be without much effort. There are lots of meals that I have that are meatless and I enjoy them very much. I would try this place if there was one near here. The nearest one is about two hours away.

    Have a fabulous day. ♥

  2. I love the presentation! My husband and I love to cook however Asian foods are one thing we do go to a restaurant for. Working with rice paper is a pain in the butt! These look delicious.

  3. Looks delicious, I wish we would have more vegan options over here. Even as a vegetarian it’s sometimes hard to find something that is out of the ordinary and healthy!
